Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of documented experience working in cabinet or countertop construction, general construction, finish carpentry, computer-aided design layouts, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, general plumbing, general hydraulics, or general automotive work with trucks.
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to use hands and arms to manipulate, handle, feel, reach, and operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear, and occasionally sit.
  • Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; loads heavier than 50 pounds require two people.
  • Ability to work at heights from ground level up to 20 feet using ladders or platforms.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.
  • Ability to work in partially environmentally controlled indoor conditions, outdoors when required, and around variable temperatures, noise, odors, and fumes.
  • Ability to wear required safety hearing devices and OSHA-approved eye protection in manufacturing areas.
  • U.S. citizenship and compliance with Federal Contractor employee requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Create and adapt process sheets, kits, and other components for the Lean process.
  • Operate testing equipment, including electrical multimeters, LP leak detectors, high- and low-voltage meters, and pressure and vacuum testing equipment.
  • Cross-train and work on processes including flooring installation, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, cabinet and countertop making, welding, and technology integration.
  • Work with management to adapt current timelines to increase productivity and safety within the shop.
  • Use standard shop tools, including drills, drill presses, saws, grinders, orbital sanders, pneumatic tools, hand tools, multimeters, rivet guns, cable-tie guns, cutting tools, and wet/dry vacuum cleaners.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in cabinet or countertop construction, general construction, finish carpentry, computer-aided design layouts, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, general plumbing using PVC or PEX, general hydraulics, or general automotive work with trucks.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective manufacturing and distribution.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used to produce precision technical plans, drawings, and models.
  • Understanding of and willingness to apply the company’s core values.
  • Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, remain reliable and safety-conscious, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
