YOUR ROLE

You will play a crucial role in developing architectural systems. For this role, your primary responsibility will be to investigate the practical application of ZURU building products through design development of residential projects.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role will be pivotal in proving that the ZURU building systems can provide an architecture that is extremely flexible and easy to design. You will be responsible for the development of 20+ houses, investigating and refining each one into beautiful and inspiring examples of our architectural system.

Using Rhino, Grasshopper, and our proprietary software Dreamcatcher you will develop the houses from basic designs into precise and highly detailed digital twins. Your expertise will be crucial in generating houses that effectively verify the architectural freedom of our products to cross-functional teams.

Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a central role in refining our architectural systems and optimizing the functionality of our offerings to enhance user satisfaction.

Additionally, you will actively contribute to the design and production of exclusive properties, showcasing the versatility and potential of our architectural offer. Your contributions will further solidify our position as leaders in innovation within the industry

RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify architectural products through practical design application
Design Development on sample houses
Discover case-based rules for architectural systems
Identify situations where our systems thrive as well as where they struggle
Use and refine existing grasshopper definitions
Prepare presentations of drawings, digital models and renderings
Work with our software teams in Italy to implement design-logic in our user-friendly software

REQUIRED

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture
5+ years of experience in an architectural design or BIM role, preferably at a residential scale
Enthusiasm for detail and order
Highly proficient with Rhino
Intermediate understanding of Grasshopper
Very strong representation skills, both from a technical, verbal, and aesthetic perspective
Ability to use and develop new tools without being afraid to challenge traditional work methods and processes
Capacity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and to move project forward in a fast timeline.
