- Experience with Oracle database administration, including PL/SQL, DDL/DML, query and index tuning, database performance tuning, database patching, schema maintenance, tablespace management with Automatic Storage Management, schema and object recovery, Export/Import Data Pump, Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Data Guard.
- Ability to coordinate with a vendor physical database administrator for database upgrades.
- Manage database users.
- Review PL/SQL and DDL/DML code.
- Promote code and manage releases.
- Tune queries, indexes, database objects, and overall database performance.
- Refresh data from production to non-production environments.
- Perform security database patching.
- Create and maintain schemas, including reorganization.
- Manage tablespaces using Automatic Storage Management.
- Recover database schemas and objects.
- Perform Export/Import Data Pump operations.
- Administer Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Data Guard at Level 3.
- Create databases on the Exadata production platform at Level 3 onsite with guidance from the Rogers database administrator.
- Expertise or knowledge of the Exadata platform.
