Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing and a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing patient care in an outpatient or inpatient setting is required.
  • A current, valid registered nurse license through the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.
  • A valid Basic Life Support certification or higher is required, following American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day back-office operations of the clinic and employees providing nursing care to clinic patients.
  • Implement and assure quality medical management and cost-containment health services for patients.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate or improve clinical care services and programs, including patient experience, patient safety, HEDIS quality measures, and financial goals.
  • Implement, maintain, and evaluate clinical and patient care practice standards.
  • Work with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, administrative leadership team, and RN Manager to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction, and financial goals.
  • Ensure staff are up to date with clinic objectives and present progress on clinic objectives at staff meetings.
  • Provide leadership to the nursing team and mentorship support to staff.
  • Oversee patient care services, including the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation or improvement of clinical care services and programs.
  • Manage budgets, staff development, operations, and services aligned with nursing standards of practice and service priorities.
  • Manage performance and outcome measures, as well as strategic, business, and organizational goals and objectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in health services, business administration, or management is preferred.
  • Experience in staff supervision is preferred.
  • Experience with audits and health care inspections is preferred.
  • Prior experience with an electronic health or medical record system is preferred.
  • Bilingual English, Spanish, or Chinese language ability is preferred depending on the site.
