Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual counseling for undergraduate students seeking help for emotional and behavioral concerns.
  • Evaluate students for potential need of referral to a more appropriate service provider and facilitate referral.
  • Assist students in need of local community resources.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and/or workshops on a variety of topics.
  • Partner with supervisor and other campus staff to coordinate urgent mental health crisis services.
  • Consult with campus community on issues of care and concern.
  • Create and participate in campus-wide wellness programing, including residential student specific outreach/programming.
  • Actively participate in professional associations and training sessions.
  • Provide case management duties including optimizing student functioning by addressing concerns on an individual basis. Provide case management support, as needed, to Mont Alto CARE Team.
