Requirements
  • 2 years DJ experience in a live venue setting.
  • Expert in current DJ mixing software.
  • Familiarity with digital audio playback units.
  • Ability to follow game scripts and execute against them.
  • Ability to execute music strategy developed by WCK Event Presentation Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Attends pregame meetings to review and anticipate event needs.
  • Executes music mixes during ingress, warmups, and egress.
  • Selects music during timeouts and stoppages with focus on proper emotional tone.
  • Executes musical cues for contests, ceremonies, and other on-court presentations.
  • Executes music cues (beats, sound effects, stings) from Instant Replay unit.
  • Takes cues from Westchester Knicks Game Director and follows game scripts.
