Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Engineer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers to gain a deep understanding of the challenges we are addressing. As part of the design team, you will be instrumental in developing solutions that enhance the user experience for our Python-based frameworks and technical-based experiences.

What you will do

Collaborate with simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers to understand complex user pain-points and needs as we develop our Product.
Support the development of AI and ML solutions for mechanical engineering applications.
Translate complex concepts into intuitive and compelling developer experiences.
Support our product engineers in creating user-friendly coding interfaces for Python-based frameworks.
Design for developer-focused users in enterprise contexts, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

What the ideal candidate looks like

2-3 years of experience in UX design, preferably in a technical or enterprise context.
Strong understanding of the developer workflow and experience designing for developer tools such as command-line interfaces
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, FigJam, Click or equivalent
Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience designing for expert users (e.g., Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers) in enterprise situations is a plus.
Experience in data science/machine learning including Jupyter Notebooks is a plus
Experience in any programming language such as Python, C or Arduino is a plus
