Solenis is looking to engage a Key Account Manager Associate to manage an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide The Key Account Manager will be tasked with identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Key Account Manager Associate’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Key Account Manager Associate may work on attaining new business where appropriate.

Primary Focus: As a Key Account Manager Associate, your main objective is to deliver exceptional technical service to assigned customers, driving value and ensuring satisfaction while also identifying opportunities for growth.
Communicating with sales management regarding account activities is vital to keep all stakeholders informed. Providing weekly reporting (develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports) and inventory management are integral tasks to maintain oversight and accountability.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with our valued clients, ensuring continuity and fostering trust.
Opportunity Explorer: Seek out and capitalize on new product opportunities within your assigned territory, leveraging existing relationships and market insights.
Continuous Learning: Engage in comprehensive training programs and site visits to deepen your understanding of territory plants and customer operations.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales plans to secure new business and expand our market presence.
What you’ll need to succeed:
B.S. in Science or Engineering (preferred)
1-3 years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred)
Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems
Project management of complex projects
Strong relationship management skills
Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience using a consultative sales process

The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,500.00 and $102,900.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
