Requirements
  • Completed technical or business degree, completed vocational training as Engineer (m/w/d), Master Craftsman (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the automotive supplier industry as Production Manager or a comparable function
  • Experience in leadership
  • Knowledge of Lean Management and Continuous Improvement (CIP)
  • REFA knowledge advantageous
  • Negotiation skills, strong communication skills, assertiveness
  • Very good computer skills (MS-Office, ERP)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
Responsibilities
  • Manages all production areas, is responsible for quality, adherence to deadlines and productivity
  • Leads the production team, consisting of 5 team leaders and 5 supervisors (approx. 150 production employees in total)
  • Responsible for optimizing production processes, workflow and support
  • Works closely with technical development, quality assurance, logistics and maintenance
  • Achieves product and operational goals by participating in strategic development, setting up action plans and implementing standards in production
  • Conducts audits and develops/realises improvements
  • Leads and develops the team throughout the HR lifecycle, from hiring new employees, onboarding, and agreeing goals, to workforce planning, coaching and conducting performance reviews, planning compensation changes and implementing disciplinary actions (as needed)
  • Plans further development measures for employees in the team
  • All other tasks as instructed
