Job Description

Position: Planning Coordinator
Location: Corning, NY
Duration: 12 +Months (Possible extension)

Responsibilities:

To provide order management support for EIG sample and sales orders at contract manufacturers (CM) through manufacturing planning and inventory management processes.

• Manage all sales and samples orders in ORS SharePoint system (review CM inventory and capabilities, update order status, commit dates and routings to the appropriate CM’s, entering new product codes in ORS as needed)
• Submission of request for quotes (RFQ) to CM’s (including verifying pdf and dxf drawings are available in the SolidWorks Vault)
• Support CM extranet maintenance as needed
• Document orders issues and ship to commit miss details in ORS as needed.
• Submission of PO requests in PeopleSoft Finance for CM quotes
• Submission of RFQ’s outside standard ORS requests
• Attend Planning open order review meetings and provide input on commit dates and order status

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010, Word, Excel and SharePoint
  • Organizational skills, rigorous and efficient.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, forward looking/proactive.
  • Must be able to deliver a high level of accuracy of information
