Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a health-related field and a minimum of five years of experience with strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement, or a master's degree in a health-related field and three years of healthcare experience with strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement.
  • Computer and Internet skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, are essential.
  • Experience with Just Culture is required.
  • The position requires employment authorization verification through the federal E-Verify program.
Responsibilities
  • Collect relevant quality data.
  • Analyze and assess quality data.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to disseminate data and information.
  • Benchmark performance.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve performance based on goals.
  • Collect and present performance information to relevant oversight and governance groups.
  • Lead and oversee all quality assurance and performance improvement and regulatory/accreditation activities for the Digestive Health, Endocrine, and Metabolism Integrated Clinical Care Environment.
  • Monitor and collate patient safety events in collaboration with operational leaders.
  • Work with the Risk Management department to facilitate event reviews and appropriate follow-up actions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Patient Safety is preferred.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and certification in Six Sigma are preferred.
  • Certification in Just Culture is preferred.
  • Experience with the Epic electronic medical record is preferred.
  • Experience within the Digestive Health, Endocrinology, or Metabolic Health medical field is preferred.
