Requirements
  • Experience as Bank Regulator or Examiner strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years' management in financial services experience in any of the following disciplines: Compliance, Audit, or equivalent work experience
  • Sound understanding of at least one risk discipline. E.g., Financial or Non-Financial Risks
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for examination planning and supporting pre-examination readiness exercises, focusing on a risk discipline, i.e. Financial or Non-Financial risk.
  • Reviewing regulatory exam requests and providing a review/evaluation of the quality, accuracy, sufficiency and completeness of regulatory responses and ensuring adherence to enterprise-wide requirements
  • Establishing regular preparation meetings with the target business unit(s) in advance of an examination
  • Preparing briefing notes and read-outs of examination meetings.
  • Coordinating with multiple teams across disciplines and regions to meet exam deliverables.
  • Compiling, tracking, and communicating on regulatory guidance, themes and focus areas that could impact examinations.
  • Working with senior management to analyze examination requests and provide direction for effective approach to examination requests.
  • Maintaining metrics regarding examination request responsiveness. Schedule and facilitate meetings between the business and examination team.
