Requirements
  • An associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Application, or related accounting experience is required.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and collection activities.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including filtering and sorting, data analysis, and reporting.
  • A strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of collections procedures and customer account management.
  • Ability to analyze account activity and identify discrepancies.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the assigned accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Review aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due invoices.
  • Conduct collection calls and correspondence to secure timely payment.
  • Maintain detailed collection notes and customer communication records.
  • Escalate delinquent accounts and collection concerns to management as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships while enforcing payment terms.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process approved credit memos.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Serve as backup support for other accounts receivable team members.
  • Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Upload invoices and supporting documentation to customer portals and payment platforms.
  • Monitor invoice approval status and resolve rejected or disputed invoices.
  • Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Process and apply customer payments received via ACH, wire transfer, lockbox, check, and credit card.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and merchant processing reports.
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, deductions, and payment variances.
  • Process credit card payment reports and post payments accurately.

Counselor Top 40 distributor Nadel acquires Australia's All Branded Group

Nadel, a top promotional products distributor based in Culver City, California, has acquired All Branded Group, an Australian promotional products and brand experience company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition strengthens Nadel's presence in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. All Branded Group, founded by Mark Sacharowitz over 20 years ago, will eventually transition to the Nadel name. The deal expands Nadel's capabilities in promotional products, custom solutions, digital commerce platforms, employee engagement, corporate gifting, and fulfilment services. All Branded Group's team will continue serving clients whilst gaining access to Nadel's global resources and technology. Nadel ranks 15th among the industry's largest distributors, with 2025 North American promotional products revenue of $221.9 million.
