Job Introduction
You will assist with the efficient operation of the HR department and assisting in implementing HR initiatives. The role will help oversee strategic projects and be part of the planning, execution, and closing of projects within the HR department. This role ensures that HR initiatives support the strategic objectives.
The role will also provide comprehensive support to the CHRO, ensuring effective management of schedules, communications, and project coordination. This role demands a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist with project management for specific initiatives as directed by the CHRO and Senior HR Leads.
- Coordinate project timelines and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports on HR metrics to the CHRO to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Analyse trends in HR data to recommend improvements and innovations.
Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems within the department.
- Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with supporting the CHRO, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the CHRO.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings and events, prepare agendas, and provide or coordinate catering.
- Manage, process, and track expenses and reports.
Required Experience
- Experience in a HR role, ideally one or two previous positions.
- Some understanding of HR functions, policies, and best practices.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
- Experience with Workday desirable but not an essential.
