The Role

Lexion is looking for a Technical Content Writer who is skilled at taking complex concepts and translate them into concise, easy-to-understand tutorials, guides, release notes, documentation and learning resources for the customer community. As an experienced technical writer, your work portfolio includes writing samples with examples of how you conveyed complex technical information to both experienced and new users. Above all, you will thrive in this role if you are a passionate writer with a deep curiosity for technology and a desire to develop as a technical writer, content creator, and storyteller.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, write, and manage technical and process documentation and learning resources
• Define general best practices and style guidelines for consistency; establish and implement documentation quality standards
• Create short videos to go with written content using Loom
• Define new documentation processes and iterate on current workflows for efficiency
• Keep up-to-date with key business and product concepts and updates, and ensure they are aligned with relevant documentation
• Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from developer and end user communities to iterate on content quality and efficacy
• Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content
• Utilize data analytics and metrics to evaluate content performance and optimize future content strategies

What We Look For 

• 3+ years professional writing or content creating experience 
• Experience creating technical documentation, diagrams, instructions, and screencast videos for technical products and applications
• Passionate about the customer experience and their success
• Interested in the latest trends and developments in technology 
• Ability to communicate complex, technical ideas in accessible, digestible ways
• Meticulous eye for detail, comfortable editing, growth minded, eager to learn
• Self-starter, takes ownership of projects
