About the Position

We are looking for an energetic and driven Commercial Contracts Lawyer to help our Legal team advise on, draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts for our Procurement and Facilities teams in London, and in some cases, for colleagues around the world.

This work will include master agreements, services agreements, licenses, leases, building contracts, amendments, NDAs and many other types of contracts. You will also support our global commercial contracts and procurement processes, tools and templates.

Additionally, you will consult with and advise members of our Procurement and Facilities teams, and other colleagues more broadly across our firm, on day-to-day contractual and legal issues that arise in our growing global environment, which includes offices in New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Singapore.

About You

• Qualified lawyer from the UK, EU or a common law jurisdiction
• 2-5 years PQE negotiating, drafting and advising in relation to commercial contracts/procurement/technology/IP agreements
• Has either in-house or private practice experience
• Good working knowledge of commercial contract law, including comfort with technological terms and understanding of software and technology licensing
• Excellent writing, speaking, and people skills; collaborative and organised
• Takes initiative to address problems and make process improvements
• Some knowledge of data privacy, cloud, outsourcing and procurement law and practice would be beneficial
• Experience with contract management systems and process implementation preferred
• Fluency in English required
