Co-Op/Intern Performance Test Developer

Job location: our office in Ottawa, Canada

Term length: 8 months starting May 2024

About the Team

Within the Center of Excellence group, the Solution Performance team focuses on our customer’s most pressing business and performance needs. This team tests how a customer’s system will grow and scale, to establish key performance indicators with the aim of proactively avoiding performance bottlenecks.

What you will do

Work with a mentor in the Center of Excellence team to conduct performance testing, simulation development, results collection and analysis
Collaborate with testers and developers to improve user simulation tests
Develop automations to analyze and report on performance test results
May Perform additional projects upon request

What we are looking for

Strong programming skills
Proficiency in JavaScript or other scripting languages
Familiarity with tools such as JMeter, K6; protocol such as HTTP/SOAP and standards such as HTML/XML/JSON are assets
Completion of at least 3 years of a bachelor’s degree in computer science
Strong analytical skills
A willingness to learn new technologies
