Responsibilities
  • Conduct palliative care consultations and follow-ups in the hospital
  • Manage complex symptoms (pain, nausea, fatigue, etc.)
  • Develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Lead discussions on prognosis, treatment options, and patient values
  • Coordinate with primary and specialty care teams
  • Educate patients and families
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case reviews
  • Maintain accurate EHRs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Engage in quality improvement and research
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred background in palliative care, hospice, oncology, or related fields
  • Advanced palliative care certification preferred
