  • A valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company insurance requirements is required.
  • At least 2 years of delivery, route driving, warehouse, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience is required.
  • The ability to safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, and other assigned delivery vehicles is required.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to verify orders, inventory, and delivery documentation accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent communication with remote management is required.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, GPS navigation systems, delivery applications, electronic proof-of-delivery systems, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing delivery schedules and customer needs is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • The ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, and repeatedly load, unload, and move product cases throughout the workday is required.
  • The ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles frequently, work in varying weather conditions and warehouse environments, and operate delivery vehicles for extended periods is required
Responsibilities
  • Review and verify orders pulled by the third-party logistics provider for accuracy before loading and delivery.
  • Safely load, transport, unload, and deliver products to customer locations according to company standards and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Routing Administrator and management team about route status, delivery completion, delays, customer concerns, and operational issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery-related matters in the Bay Area market.
  • Obtain and submit signed proof of delivery and required delivery documentation daily.
  • Report product shortages, damages, discrepancies, returns, and unsellable merchandise promptly to management.
  • Handle merchandise carefully so products arrive in excellent condition.
  • Assist with inventory verification and reconciliation to maintain accurate records of products loaded, delivered, and returned.
  • Communicate with customers and internal departments about delivery issues, order adjustments, inventory concerns, and service requests.
  • Provide customer service during customer interactions and represent the company professionally.
  • Comply with company policies, safety procedures, traffic regulations, and applicable state and federal transportation requirements.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
  • Support special projects, inventory counts, and other assigned operational duties.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance, mechanical, safety, or operational concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of assigned delivery vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle fluid levels, tire condition, lights, and other basic maintenance items.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and service appointments with management and approved service providers.
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance records, mileage logs, fuel receipts, and inspection documentation.
  • Report accidents, traffic violations, breakdowns, and safety incidents immediately and follow reporting procedures.
  • Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Secure and load vehicles properly to prevent product damage, inventory loss, and safety hazards during transport.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous delivery, route sales, beverage distribution, logistics, or transportation experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with warehouses, third-party logistics providers, or inventory management processes is preferred.
  • Experience in beverage, wine and spirits, food service, consumer packaged goods, or distribution industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bay Area roadways, delivery routes, and traffic patterns is preferred.
  • Experience delivering to retail stores, restaurants, grocery chains, or on-premise accounts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Proof of Delivery documents, invoices, and delivery documentation is preferred.
