Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience related to Employee Benefits
  • Post-secondary education required and completion of (or working towards) related courses in group benefits (CEBS, GBA designations preferred)
  • Successful completion of LLQP
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under timeline pressure
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete employee benefits cycle: plan design review, provider search, implementation, reporting, renewal negotiations, and employee communication.
  • Maintain accurate and organized calendar, client files, and correspondence.
  • Maintain awareness of HUB’s revenue structure for each client, monitor expected revenue, and take partnerships with management to setup or change HUB’s commission rate on a given policy.
  • Regularly introduce clients to new products and services that would benefit their operation.
  • Utilize resources at HUB to demonstrate the broad range of capabilities and introduce peers across HUB’s business lines to your clients.
  • Work with the analytics team to prepare and deliver professional reports and presentations.
  • Partner with the communications team to create functional and enriching client materials.
  • Train and mentor peers and new team members.
  • Attend and participate in industry and company events and meetings.
  • Build healthy relationships with insurance providers while representing the interests of HUB’s clients first.
  • Respond to client concerns promptly and involve leadership when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
