Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales managerial experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, or its equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies that will maximize revenue for all outlets at the property
  • Direct all marketing and branding efforts to ensure maximum yield is achieved, market segments are correctly targeted, and the The Quail image is vibrantly portrayed
  • Manage the day-to-day operation via scheduling, recruiting, planning, controlling, and analyzing all aspects of the department
  • Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Prepare accurate and complete sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing plans
  • Drive group meetings and events (MICE) sales strategy to grow market share, expand relationships with meeting planners, and position the property as a premier destination for corporate and incentive travel, as well as association meetings
  • Develop and manage partnerships with key consortia, travel networks, and preferred travel agencies to maximize leisure segment revenue and visibility
  • Lead proactive sales efforts targeting group business, including site inspections, FAM trips, and trade shows, to increase conversions and long-term client relationships
  • Utilize advanced sales technology platforms (e.g., CRM systems, data analytics, AI-driven lead generation tools, and digital marketing automation) to identify new business opportunities and measure ROI across all sales and marketing channels
  • Implement digital and social media campaigns designed to increase awareness and bookings from leisure travelers, consortia partners, and group accounts
  • Partner with revenue management to align group and leisure sales and marketing strategies with pricing, distribution, and demand forecasts to optimize profitability
  • Oversee development of compelling proposals, presentations, and customized offers for MICE clients, ensuring competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of group and leisure sales channels, providing actionable insights to executive leadership for continuous growth
