Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior work experience in other behavioral treatment settings is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage to drive company vehicles are required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The employee must become CPI and CPR certified within the first 30 days.
Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and supportive space through consistent, compassionate care and supervision that ensures patients’ emotional and physical well-being.
  • Guide and encourage patients through therapy, group activities, meals, and transitions.
  • Lead or support experiential activities such as mindfulness, recreation, and group engagement.
  • Model calm, respectful behavior and healthy coping strategies to build trust and emotional safety.
  • Document observations and interactions clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner to support treatment planning.
  • Remain grounded and responsive during high-stress or emotionally charged situations and help restore calm using established strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate professionally to support a connected care environment.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality while maintaining patient dignity and respect.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to grow clinical understanding and provide trauma-informed, values-based care.
  • Safely transport patients to and from program sites and external appointments, such as doctors and laboratories, following safety standards and protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology is preferred.
  • Prior work experience in other behavioral treatment settings is a plus.

It combines evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR with experiential activities like equine therapy, art, and yoga, delivered along a continuum that includes residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and therapeutic day schools. Care is provided on a fee-for-service basis and coordinated with major insurers to support families. The goal is to address root causes of high-risk behaviors and co-occurring disorders, empower teens, restore families, and promote lasting mental wellness.
