Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computational Finance, Economics, or related
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation
  • 2 years of experience in market making single stock, ETF, custom basket option, dispersion products, and interest rate option, including executing trades for client facilitation
  • 2 years of experience in assessing and hedging trading book risk and optimizing profitability
  • 2 years of experience in monitoring forward risk exposure, including borrow, dividend, and interest rate risks
  • 2 years of experience in developing analytical tools in Python to improve automation and risk management, generating trade ideas, and managing desk's Git repository
  • 2 years of experience in conducting securities markets research to identify opportunities and dislocations
  • 2 years of experience in distributing and maximizing custom basket trading for clients.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain trading book regarding marking positions, evaluating risk, and trade lifecycle maintenance for the desk
  • Be responsible for market making options on stocks, ETFs within assigned sector, and custom baskets
  • Be responsible for generating trade ideas for discussion with sales and clients
  • Cultivate relationships with clients to generate revenues through new client business
  • Analyze and research volatility market for discovery of mis‐pricings in the marketplace for client monetization
  • Coordinate and hedge risks deriving from customer transactions to stay within risk limits
  • Be responsible for building tools in Python to monitor volatility changes, backtest trade ideas, and evaluate relative value trading opportunities
  • Work with Quants/Strats team to improve trading lifecycle automation and deliver new products that help with trading workflow
