Requirements
  • WI medical license eligible by start date of position
  • Candidates with an MD degree are required to have completed a radiology residency program with a nuclear medicine fellowship or a nuclear medicine residency and be American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or American Board of Radiology (ABR)/ABNM certified or board-eligible by start date of position
  • MD, or MD and PhD required by start date
  • PhD in the biomedical sciences or other closely related field of study by start date. This requirement is for applicants who hold an MD and PhD.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Section as Chief.
  • Perform and interpret clinical nuclear medicine PET and Nuclear Cardiology studies.
  • Evaluate and treat radiotheranostic patients with a high level of excellence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Fellowship training in Molecular Imaging is preferred by start date.
  • All faculty will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Tenure: For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on tenure track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the UW Divisional Committee guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the tenure track
