  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Alternately, professional experience equivalent to the above.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in one of the following: Python, or Typescript.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience leading/mentoring technical teams.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure (databases, storage, caching, content delivery), and cloud hosting offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a tech team to deliver software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Mentor more junior developers to help them grow both technically and professionally.
  • Ensure the continued growth of the team to help them operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Recommend, advocate for, and implement software architecture and process changes.
  • Set aggressive goals for the team and maintain and achieve the software development schedule.
  • Act as a senior technical expert for the outcome, keeping up with external trends.
  • Design, implement, and debug new features across one or more projects.
  • Work with the product team, stakeholders, and other developers to refine system designs and influence architectural decisions.
  • Maintain and influence coding standards and development processes.
  • Document implementations and design decisions.
