Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the Software development lifecycle.

Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria, be a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes.

Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including manual and automated functional and integration tests and the setup of production-like environments.

 

Essential Requirements

 

5 to 7 Years of overall experience.

Strong experience with SQL and relational database systems (example Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB)

Strong knowledge of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) domain

Experience with planning, designing and executing non-functional tests (performance, load, stress) and API testing

Review test cases and procedures to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements.

Execute testing as required & according to test plan and project goals. Communicate testing progress and results in a timely and accurate manner.

Review and continually improve quality assurance practices, including creation and update of documentation related to quality assurance processes and guidelines.

Provide impact analysis and regression testing of software changes.

Knowledge in Defect Lifecycle and Defect Management tools like JIRA.

 

Desirable Requirements

 

Background in Computer Science

Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems

Familiarity using AWS technologies and products.
