  • Associate of science degree, certificate from technical school or successful completion of Department of Labor-approved training program or equivalent
  • Five or more years of proven related work experience
  • Required federal and/or state licenses and registrations within the time designated by the business unit
  • Predictive: Level 1 Vibration Certification, Level 1 Thermography Certification required
  • Electrical: Electrical license required (if mandated by applicable state to perform work)
  • HVAC: Universal CFC Certification, State Stationary Engineer's license or equivalent course work required
  • Plumbing: Universal CFC Certification required
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance service and repairs in specialized technical and skilled trades
  • Develop and ensure maximum operational efficiency of facilities and equipment
  • Ensure all systems are fully operational and inspected according to accepted standards
  • Act as a specialist for specific maintenance tasks
  • May be a team lead responsible for the operation and maintenance of HVAC and life safety systems
  • Provide advice and guidance to complete complex projects
  • Respond to customer service requests and maintenance calls
  • Assist the supervisor with work team issues including safety compliance and training
Desired Qualifications
  • Locksmith Certification strongly preferred
  • State Fire Alarm Certification, Level 1 Thermography Certification strongly preferred
  • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) is preferred
