INSEAD is seeking a Director, Corporate Partnerships to join our Executive Education Department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships, you will be responsible for growing our customised and open-enrolment programs through proactive sales and business development activities. This is a key role where you will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and faculty, identifying new business opportunities and providing tailored solutions. This position requires a consultative sales approach and a proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, influence decision-makers, and close sales. Experience in learning design is a plus, as you will also support faculty in shaping program content.
Your role within the team
- Develop and Grow Client Accounts: Cultivate new and existing relationships with corporations in the MENA Region (example: KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, North Africa etc etc) to identify and secure business opportunities for our executive education programs.
- Drive Sales and Business Development: Proactively identify potential clients, influence senior-level stakeholders, and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing a deal.
- Review Client Needs & Design Solutions: Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand client challenges and collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to design tailored, high-value program proposals.
- Coordinate Program Delivery: Act as the end-to-end relationship manager for ongoing clients, ensuring the successful delivery of programs and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate on Proposals: Partner with various subject matter experts to produce high-quality, impactful proposals that address complex client needs.
- Contribute to Team Initiatives: Work as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment, contributing to shared goals and navigating an often ambiguous landscape.
The ideal candidate profile
- A good education background with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree / MBA preferred.
- Significant experience (about 7-10 years) in consultative/solutions sales or business development in a B2B environment, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with senior leaders. Experience within the education sector is a plus, but not essential.
- A consultative sales approach and experience in managing highly complex, customizable products or services.
- A proven ability to personally close sales and meet targets.
- Experience in proposal writing and collaborating with various subject matter experts is highly beneficial.
- An agile and collaborative team player with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, complex, and high-energy environment with multiple stakeholders and shared accountability.
- Fosters a collaborative environment, encourages open communication, and promotes cooperation within the team.
- Be the driving force behind ensuring your team understands client needs and takes ownership for delivering solutions that provide real value.
- Learning design capabilities are a significant plus.
- The ability to travel approximately 20% or more of the time is required.
- Experience in The Middle East Region is preferred; Arabic is compulsory.
- Management experience is a plus.
