Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Contribute to a team responsible for designing and developing new iOS software and applications; work with Apple iOS/tvOS releases, technologies and libraries, including Frameworks, Video, Swift Package Manager, and CocoaPods; develop iOS native client applications using Swift; deliver consumer-facing applications on the Apple App Store; work with streaming video delivery technologies including AVFoundation, AVKit, Video and HLS; perform CI/CD using Jenkins, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Gitlab Runner, Azure, and XCUITests; build code responsible for all IP video playback streaming; improve the video playback experience; build clean APIs for video playback on mobile devices; build reusable iOS software components; design and implement end to end components related to video playback; and analyze, optimize, and improve the code base. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software and web applications; working with Apple iOS releases, technologies, and libraries, including Frameworks and CocoaPods; developing iOS native client applications using Swift; delivering consumer-facing applications on the Apple App Store; working with streaming video delivery technologies including AVFoundation; and performing CI/CD using Gitlab Runner and XCUITests; of which one (1) year includes working with Swift Package Manager, AVKit, Jenkins, and Fastlane.

SALARY:                              $94,578.00 to $170,000.00 per year

Compensation

Base Pay: $94,578.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
