Requirements
  • 7+ years of related experience in IT networking, network operations, network security, infrastructure support, IT application support, IT development, or a similar field.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical or business-technology field is required.
  • Advanced proven experience leading operational support teams through incident response, break/fix troubleshooting, production escalations, service restoration, recurring issue remediation, ticket queues, monitoring alerts, change activity, vulnerability remediation, and platform support responsibilities.
  • Advanced ability to understand the operational impact of production issues and align break/fix priorities with service stability, customer impact, risk reduction, and business continuity.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional operational teams during escalations, resolve support conflicts, drive technical follow-through, and identify risks affecting service reliability, recovery readiness, and operational execution.
  • Proficiency in governance patterns tied to incident handling, escalation quality, operational validation, change readiness, and technical support standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, load balancing, SD-WAN, cloud networking, monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL practices, including incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, and major incident management.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead operational support planning for production environments, including break/fix response, service restoration, escalation readiness, and technical recovery execution.
  • Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
  • Design transaction-specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures, and ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Develop desktop procedures for others to follow when needed.
  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership for NOC L1, NOC L2, and fulfillment activities across distributed shifts.
  • Drive queue discipline, shift handoff quality, escalation quality, and follow-through for incidents, service requests, operational tasks, and aging work.
  • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for network incidents, service degradation, monitoring gaps, and high-impact operational issues.
  • Coordinate with Critical Response Coordinators during major incidents by providing technical triage, impact clarity, remediation status, and next-step ownership.
  • Partner with engineering, observability, security, automation, and service management teams to identify recurring issues, reduce alert noise, improve monitoring quality, and strengthen operational readiness.
  • Coach analysts and engineers on troubleshooting approach, documentation expectations, ticket hygiene, escalation standards, and operational accountability.
  • Support network readiness activities, including health checks, patching, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery exercises, and operational validation.
  • Prepare operational updates, leadership summaries, post-incident notes, and improvement recommendations explaining risk, progress, constraints, and decisions.
  • Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing customer service.
Desired Qualifications
  • Recommended industry certifications include CCNP Enterprise or an equivalent industry network certification, Palo Alto Networks security certification or equivalent network security certification, and ITIL Foundation.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial services or banking.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, LiveNX or LiveAction, ThousandEyes, NetBrain, AppDynamics, F5, Cloudflare DNS, Infoblox, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Cisco Firepower, Cisco FMC, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Meraki, Azure Firewall, and Azure Load Balancers.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.

Hadrian closes $360M credit facility to expand US manufacturing footprint

Hadrian has closed a $360 million revolving credit facility to expand its US manufacturing infrastructure and meet production targets for defence and aerospace programmes. Morgan Stanley Senior Funding served as lead arranger, with joint lead arrangers including Western Alliance Bank, J.P. Morgan, and First Citizens Bank. The financing follows Hadrian's $1.37 billion Series D fundraise announced last week, which valued the advanced manufacturing company at $7.87 billion. The credit facility will support buildout of Hadrian's factory network and machinery investments. Hadrian currently operates four facilities totalling nearly 3 million square feet in California, Arizona, and Alabama, with additional sites under development. The company builds highly automated factories combining robotics and AI for space and defence manufacturers.

Ordway has doubled its recurring revenue over the past two years whilst remaining profitable. Western Alliance launches WA VenueX for round-the-clock dollar settlement. Western Alliance Bank revealed on Friday that it has formally launched WA VenueX, an institutional platform offering real-time US dollar liquidity and support for digital asset activity within a regulated banking environment. The Phoenix-based commercial bank, which holds more than $90 billion in assets, said that its WA VenueX Network provides 24/7 dollar instant settlement for approved institutional digital asset businesses. Since an initial rollout earlier this year, the network has processed billions of dollars in transaction volume across stablecoin minting and redemption, institutional settlement and real-time liquidity rebalancing. The launch places Western Alliance among a small group of regulated US financial institutions offering always-on infrastructure for institutional digital asset markets. Further capabilities, including digital asset custody, financing, tokenisation and programmable financial services, are said to be in development and will be introduced in phases. "Western Alliance Bank is always looking for innovative ways to better serve our clients while advancing the S-curve funding growth strategy we outlined at our Investor Day in May," stated Dale Gibbons, vice chairman and chief banking officer, deposit initiatives and innovation. He added that the platform also supported the bank's deposit remixing efforts and a more diversified source of funding. David Fragale, senior managing director of the bank's digital assets group, said WA VenueX "brings together real-time USD settlement and a roadmap toward integrated digital asset capabilities within a single platform." The bank noted that it launched the platform with nearly five years of digital asset banking experience and about 150 institutional clients, including stablecoin issuers, exchanges and trading firms. The network is currently available to select clients, with integration supported via API.
