Responsibilities
  • Develop and exhibit subject matter expertise in assigned areas of responsibility
  • Meet statutory reporting obligations within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Maintain relationships with various state insurance departments and other regulatory bureaus/entities, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement appropriate measures of internal and external compliance within areas of responsibility
  • Develop and communicate company expectations to internal and external customers relative to assigned areas of responsibility
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain business processes and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Monitor new laws or promulgated regulations relative to areas of responsibility
  • Research and analyze unique requirements resulting from new program managers, new products, or changes in insurance regulations
  • Develop processes necessary for the company and internal and external customers to remain compliant with new regulatory compliance requirements
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Previous insurance regulatory compliance experience preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance helpful
  • Knowledge of NAIC annual statement lines of business helpful
