Job Description:
As the Manager, Business Development Gift Cards & Flyers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of partners and driving the growth of our program. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding strategic brand partners who provide scale to our highly profitable offline marketing package insert program. This role requires a proactive and resourceful individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of partnership development.

Additionally, the candidate must be a detail oriented, organized self-starter who is personable and articulate while communicating with external and internal teams, agency partners, and vendors.
You will…
- Be Comfortable in Full Cycle Sales: Lead all aspects of the business development and sales process including outbound prospecting, follow up, proposal delivery, and closing.
- Manage a Team: As the Manager of a new team, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and tracking progress of the business development team.
- Identify Prospective Partners: Research and identify potential partners including e-commerce businesses, subscription box services, and retailers who could benefit from our package insert program. Partner with our Brand and Legal team to ensure new partners align with HelloFresh Group brand and strategy.
- Outreach and Engagement: Develop outreach lists and strategy while tracking progress via Hubspot. Initiate contact with prospective partners through various channels such as email, phone calls, and networking events. Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and how our program can add value to their business.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations with prospective partners, addressing any concerns or objections they may have and highlighting the benefits of partnering with us. Manage the NDA and contract negotiation process and ensure agreements are finalized promptly.
- Onboarding: Work closely with the brand partners to facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our program requirements and how to effectively launch and maintain a package insert program with HelloFresh.
- Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with partners to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns that may arise. Act as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and support requests.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor partner performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies to maximize partner success and drive program growth.
- Manage Campaign Set-up: Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate campaign execution.

At a minimum, you have...
- Experience in full cycle sales
- Experience as a people manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and onboarding partners in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Existing relationships in the e-commerce space.
- Familiarity with Hubspot and other relevant tools for managing partner relationships and tracking performance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

$97,500—$130,000 USD
