Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and to reduce interfering behaviors.
  • Be part of a team and participate in training provided by the employer to support aides and clients.
  • Support children's movement and activities; be comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, squatting, bending, and lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed in the course of sessions.
  • The role includes comprehensive training so that you are equipped and empowered to help each child, even if you don’t currently have experience.
