Requirements
  • Experience overseeing equipment maintenance including repairing and installing electrical systems, motors, inverters, PLCs, robotic systems, and automated technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs to ensure safety and minimal downtime.
  • Experience conducting preventative maintenance and inspections and reviewing drawings and written instructions to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Experience executing assigned or scheduled work orders in support of projects and process improvement efforts identified as critical to business objectives.
  • Ability to mentor junior maintenance electricians to improve their understanding and efficiency on electrical systems, installations, and upgrades.
  • Experience maintaining manufacturing process and support equipment to high performance levels including electrical system components such as motor control centers, inverters, motors, and related control systems such as PLCs and robotics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment contributing to safety, quality, downtime, or productivity opportunities and issues.
  • Ability to differentiate between product, process, mechanical, and electrical contributors during troubleshooting and to identify causes and correction steps.
  • Ability to verify, provide feedback, and update electrical schematics appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Experience developing proactive maintenance plans including preventive maintenance and condition maintenance with detailed job plans and ensuring updates to schematics as needed.
  • Ability to mentor Reliability Electricians of various levels in development of needed skills and collaboration with senior staff on installation, upgrades, and removal of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee equipment maintenance including repairing and installing electrical systems, motors, inverters, PLCs, robotic systems, and automated technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, and complete repairs to ensure safety and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections and review drawings and written instructions to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Execute assigned or scheduled work orders in support of projects and process improvement efforts identified as critical to business objectives.
  • Mentor junior maintenance electricians to improve their understanding and efficiency on electrical systems, installations, and upgrades.
  • Maintain manufacturing process and support equipment to highest, reasonable performance levels to include electrical system components - MCCs, inverters, motors, etc.; Control systems - PLCs, robotics, and other associated automation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment contributing to safety, quality, downtime/productivity opportunities and issues.
  • Differentiate between cause types when troubleshooting among product, process, mechanical, and electrical contributors; communicate findings and correction steps to operations and maintenance leadership.
  • Verify, provide feedback, and update electrical schematics appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Execute and assist in development of proactive maintenance plans, including PM and CM with detailed job plans and updates to schematics as needed.
  • Mentor Reliability Electrician II’s & III’s in development of needed skills, while assisting Reliability Electricians V’s in installation, upgrades, and removal of general electrical systems.
