The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
Provides excellent customer service to patients, employees, and guests. Responsible for Serving customers food and coffee in a clean and welcoming environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides excellent customer service to all customers.
- Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provides goods and services based on customer’s requests.
- Works with the management team to source products to be sold.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly inventory to determine needs and orders accordingly.
- Communicates with vendors as needed to maintain proper supply of products.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Follows proper safety standards in accordance with regulatory and University guidelines.
- Stocks all areas using proper HACCP procedures and rotates products accordingly.
- Completes all mandatory training as required.
- May train and/or mentor new or lower-level staff.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma and 1 year service or customer service experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to work well with others/the public. required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Serv-Safe food certificate upon hire preferred
