Requirements
  • Experience in functional solution design, testing and deployment, with a strong focus on ERP implementations, preferably Workday.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Finance modules across Procure to Pay, Record to Report and Order to Cash.
  • Experience with functional configuration, including business processes, security and reporting.
  • Experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) would be beneficial.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with project delivery teams through complex ERP implementations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices applied to a Finance organisation.
  • Workday functional certification in either Procure to Pay, Record to Report and Order to Cash (preferred).
  • Experience in large-scale Workday transformation programmes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Attend and contribute to all functional design sessions executed during the Architect & Configure stage, applying Workday best practices and lessons learnt from past implementations.
  • Facilitate the preparation, completion and sign off of configuration workbooks throughout the Architect & Configure stage.
  • Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to complete solution design across all process pillars.
  • Support the development and maintenance of testing scenarios to be executed during the formal Test stage of the implementation.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for the subject matter experts and end users in preparation for testing and go-live.
  • Support data conversion activities within scope, if and when required.
  • Contribute to regular programme updates on the status of functional activities, including open design decisions, configuration workbook status and risk and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the Change Management team to determine Finance change impacts to end users.
  • Support post-go-live data maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Assist the development of training materials for end users as part of the wider Training needs analysis and training plan.
