JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Aerospace Engineering seeks to hire numerous Penn State students and non-students. We are looking to hire part-time research assistants and part-time teaching/learning assistants.

Research assistant duties include:

• conduct research and collect data
• interpret and analyze research data
• report status of research activities
• meet with research principle to maintain ongoing communication of research progress
• perform other duties as assigned by research principle

Teaching/learning assistant duties include:

• grade student assignments and exams
• respond to and return student work in a timely manner
• hold regular office hours
• attend lectures if required by faculty supervisor
• consultant with faculty supervisor to resolve administrative, grading or other issues related to the course
• perform other duties as assigned by faculty supervisor
