THE POSITION – CULTURE CONTENT INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.
The Culture Content team member is responsible for reviewing content across all mediums to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging. The ideal candidate will have experience working with written content, video, audio, and visual media, and a keen eye for culture. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that all content aligns with the brand’s messaging and visual identity and work closely with the bookers, designers, promoters and other content creators to develop high-quality content that resonates with the brand’s audience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for culture, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the importance of messaging across all mediums.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Edit written content such as social media posts for punctuation, syntax, tone, and style.
- Review video content accuracy, coherence, and relevance to the brand’s messaging.
- Edit audio content such as podcasts, voiceovers, and interviews for clarity, coherence, and consistency in tone and style.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that visual content such as infographics, images, and illustrations align with the brand’s messaging and visual identity.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the brand’s editorial guidelines and style guide.
- Work with bookers and promoters to develop ideas and refine content.
- Manage the editorial calendar to ensure that all content is delivered on time.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content editing across all mediums.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Learn the process of marketing concerts
- Learning how to properly research target demographics
- Learn how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content editing across multiple mediums.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress or Sqaurespace
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the importance of messaging across all mediums.
- Experience in video editing
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines

$16.04 USD Hourly
