Responsibilities Build platforms, systems, and services for internal and external teams to interact with the large-scale production systems. Build tools and platforms to improve engineering productivity. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Monitor the status of hosts and periodically collect detailed information from the company's hosts globally. Leverage open-source libraries to develop endpoints that expose critical operating system information in real time. Develop secure HTTPS endpoints to interface with the osquery agent, leveraging its distributed plugin architecture to efficiently collect comprehensive operating system information. Develop sophisticated tools to globally identify and report anomalies in host performance, including high CPU usage, excessive disk utilization, and abnormal network I/O, enhancing the company's operational efficiency and system reliability. Design and implement comprehensive unit and performance tests, leveraging test results to optimize code and refine solutions. Qualifications Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or any related STEM field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or any related STEM field, and 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Developing CI/CD tools in Python and writing automation Bash Shell scripts; Automating and managing the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, validation, and deployment; Designing and implementing large-scale, distributed online software services using programming language Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python; Maintaining and debugging software services; and Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services.
