Arondite connects and manages autonomous systems from different manufacturers through Cobalt, an AI software platform. It is hardware-agnostic and acts as a unifying data engine that fuses inputs from drones, robots, and sensors to give operators real-time analytics in a single cockpit. Unlike rivals who build new hardware or lock customers to one ecosystem, Arondite emphasizes interoperability and human–machine teaming across defense, critical infrastructure, and security. Its goal is to improve decision-making, efficiency, and safety by enabling seamless interoperability of autonomous systems.

What believers are saying

  • Index-led funding and 126 open roles show aggressive scaling after May 2025.
  • Royal Navy Maritime Big Play exercises validate Cobalt with live multi-domain autonomous assets.
  • Babcock, HII, and Arondite's ARMOR Force collaboration expands Cobalt's path into fleet command.

What critics are saying

  • Cobalt must prove reliability across manufacturers before Babcock's end-2026 deployment deadline.
  • Defense procurement can stall; one British Army contract and one Royal Navy program dominate revenue.
  • Large hiring growth and deployed customer work strain delivery; integration failures kill trust fast.

What makes Arondite unique

  • Cobalt orchestrates mixed autonomy fleets; Royal Navy exercises use it in 2026.
  • Arondite won a March 11, 2026 British Army contract for 16 Air Assault Brigade.
  • Will Blyth and Rob Underhill combine battlefield insight, BAE engineering, and Palantir experience.
