About the Role
We’re very proud of our customer loyalty and our rapid growth. Concurrent with this growth is the need to scale our platform, expand the surface area of integrations, deliver high-quality and timely features, and generally contend with an increasingly complex technical ecosystem. As a member of the Event Based Learning team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the Highspot platform’s most-used features such as creating intuitive learning experiences within a native Learning Management System (LMS) that serve as a seamless extension of the Highspot platform and help sales reps master the knowledge and skills needed to be their very best selves. Our mission is to prepare customer facing teams for success with learning that #repslove. We accomplish this both through standalone innovation, and deep integration with the rest of the Highspot platform.This is a role that works closely with Product Management, Design, Back End Engineering, and Technical Project Management teams. Some of the frontend technologies that we use include JavaScript, React, Backbone, Underscore, and jQuery, as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new customer-facing product features
- Collaborate with our UI/UX Designers to translate product ideas, specifications, and mock-ups into fully-functional user experiences
- Build shared UX components
- Maximize what is possible with JavaScript and React, CSS, and HTML
Your Background
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience, not including internships/co-ops
- Proficiency in feature development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks including React
- Experience building SaaS-based web applications
- Comfortable with modern open-source technologies and tools
- Familiarity with integration frameworks and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience working with Backend Engineers and Product Designers
