The Role 

We are seeking a highly talented and skilled engineer to join our team as an End User Services Engineer. The team is responsible for the monitoring/supporting of our windows infrastructure, Citrix VDI platform, SaaS platforms, and desktop applications as well as resolving direct technical issues across a global platform of end-users including investment professionals, middle & back office employees, and technologists. This role is hands-on and would allow the opportunity to work on both front-end support as well as back-end engineering while focused on continuously improving user experience. We expect innovative ideas and solutions regarding user experience to be the digital enabler for the business.   

What you’ll do

The End User Services Engineer will serve as the main technical point for our second headquarters in Miami (HQ2). You will be tasked with not only providing technical support to users, but also helping with various global projects and rollouts such as Microsoft software packaging deployments or physical office expansions to provide a consistent user experience. You will be part of a global dynamic workforce that will require extending support to all Schonfeld locations in a collaborative manner.  An ideal candidate will showcase both project management and technical skills to contribute in opening, onboarding, and supporting a new office location.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

• Expertise with Windows 10
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Administration
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and Group Policy Management
• Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp and Microsoft Azure VDI
• Exposure to Intune and JAMF Device Management
• Experience with managing and supporting Audio/Video conferencing equipment, rooms, and events
• Collaborate effectively with the infrastructure engineering teams and the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with office facilities and data communication rooms
• Participation in a rotational after hours/weekend/on-call end user support model
• Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results
• Bachelor’s degree
