  • You have a BS/BA degree in microbiology, biology, or relevant technical program with 3 years’ experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • You have the knowledge and ability to understand and carry out standard methods (SOP’s) with aseptic technique.
  • You have working knowledge of safe microbiology lab function, on safe usage of autoclaves, and BSL2 Labs.
Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for leading R&D efforts in the preparation, testing and evaluation of new materials for potential use across the various business areas Diversey serves.
  • You will be performing a broad variety of microbiology tests daily, develop internal procedures, and act as a technical advisor to technicians.
  • You will also be responsible for performing standard laboratory work such as preparing necessary reagents and media, recording experimental data, maintaining a laboratory notebook, making calculations and preparing data reports, assisting with inventory management, using various laboratory equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • You will be responsible for EPA, EN testing, and internally developed test procedures on experimental microbiology formulations and competitive products.
