Requirements
  • Strong technical background in Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge
  • RF equipment certification compliance to NTIA standard
  • Experience with radar, windmill, RF design components (transmitter, receiver, antenna, filter)
  • Experience with link budget, commercial wireless 5G/6G, RF modeling and simulation
  • Experience with various federal agencies (NTIA, FCC, DoD, FAA, DoT)
  • 2+ years of Engineering Experience
  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in electrical engineering, electronic technology, or similar technical discipline
  • Must be a US citizen
Responsibilities
  • Review technical characteristics of Navy C-E equipment developments
  • Perform engineering analysis and assessment of equipment technical data
  • Determine compliance with military standards and International Radio Regulations
  • Assess susceptibility to harmful radio interference
  • Attend meetings and provide input on spectrum allocation and EMI control
  • Prepare position papers on Navy frequency allocation applications
  • Analyze and present Navy comments on frequency allocation requests
  • Compose letters and memoranda to relevant agencies
