Albert Bartlett is a family-owned potato producer in the UK that grows, packs, and supplies potatoes to supermarkets and consumers, and now also offers frozen and chilled potato products. Its potatoes are grown, harvested, packed for sale, and distributed through retailers, with the Rooster potato famously marketed on UK television to build brand recognition. The company differentiates itself as a multi-generation, independent family business built around a flagship potato, with a history of firsts and strategic acquisitions like The Jersey Royal Company to fuel growth. Its goal is to become a leading, recognizable worldwide potato brand while staying privately owned and continuing to deliver high-quality potatoes and related products.

Albert Bartlett teams up with Mexicana and Applewood on new cheesy mash products

Albert Bartlett teams up with Mexicana and Applewood on new cheesy mash products. Collaboration brings together a duo of indulgent products for dinner. CHILLED potato products firm Albert Bartlett has joined forces with two British cheese brands to introduce a duo of cheesy mash products to store shelves. The Scottish chilled food firm has teamed up with Mexicana, a brand known for its spicy cheese variants, and Applewood, more regarded for its smoky cheese options, to create the two new indulgent mealtime sides. This will see the Albert Bartlett creamy mash combined perfectly with the two different cheese brands. The collaboration with Mexicana has introduced the spicy cheese mash, which offers consumers a fiery blend of cheddar, chilli and jalapeños along with bell peppers and other Mexican-inspired spices and bring a bold, exciting kick of flavour to the classic comfort food. Meanwhile, the smoky cheese mash made with Applewood cheese has created a rich and smooth mash with the iconic smoky flavour that the cheese brand is well-known for. The two new products will roll out across store shelves this autumn to provide the ideal, warming comfort food for plenty of consumers as the colder nights roll in. A spokesperson for Albert Bartlett said: "More consumers are moving into the growing chilled potato category, with mash remaining the key attraction, this new convenient high quality cheesy duo, one rich, smoky and comforting, the other fiery, vibrant and adventurous, is sure to inspire even more meal occasions, particularly as temperatures drop and we seek some wholesome and comforting winter food."
