The Water Meter Installerreports to the Smart Meter Deployment Operations Manager at Bermex. This position plays a key role in water meter maintenance and measurement. This position also requires a high degree of walking in outdoor environmental conditions, excellent time management, and exceptional flexibility day to day.
Refer all consumer complaints to the appropriate authorities
Provide general information about the meter services to customers, when applicable
Use telephones, tablets, and/or computers to communicate
Other duties as assigned.
·Must haves:
·Education: Some high school education, must be 18 years of age or older
·Experience: 1 year experience working in outdoor conditions. Employees will be trained in meter reading. Must possess a valid driver’s license
Place a high value on safety, quality of work, and operational procedures
Basic knowledge of GIS systems and principles is required
