Barbaricum is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Director for the MuTC (Muscatatuck Training Center) Cyber Program. The Training Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs within cyber range or computer test bed environments.
This individual will collaborate with the leadership team and subject matter experts to identify training needs, create effective training objectives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality training solutions that meet the operational requirements and enhance the skills of participants. The Training Director will have a strong background in cyber training, as well as experience in supervising training teams and conducting Army and Joint Cyber Training.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs in cyber range environments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational needs.
- Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs, set training objectives, and define program outcomes.
- Oversee and supervise the training team, ensuring effective training delivery and the professional development of team members.
- Design and update training curriculum and materials, incorporating the latest OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking concepts, and IT management practices.
- Conduct and supervise Army and Joint Cyber Training sessions, ensuring they meet the specified training standards and objectives.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure training programs are responsive to the needs of the participants and the organization.
- Implement and maintain an effective evaluation process to assess the impact of training, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous enhancement of training quality.
Qualifications
- Must possess an DoD active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cyber range or computer test bed environments.
- At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a training or educational setting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting Army and Joint Cyber Training.
- Proven experience collaborating with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop effective training programs.
- Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management practices, and their implementation in training scenarios.
