Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the design and development of security architecture solutions for a variety of complex projects.
  • Develop and maintain reference architecture diagrams that reflect security controls, technologies, and best practices.
  • Use your IT or security engineering experience to implement security solutions tailored to specific needs while ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk analysis using established methodologies (such as STRIDE, PASTA, or OCTAVE) to identify vulnerabilities and design effective mitigation strategies.
  • Assist enterprise or solution architects to develop and document process and flow data diagrams during the stages of identification, risk analysis, and mitigation for systems and/or applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and compliance, to ensure security solutions are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide other architects and engineers on security best practices, and provide technical leadership on security-related initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in security threats, technologies, and methodologies, and continuously evolve the organization’s security approach.
  • Provide expert input on governance, risk management, and compliance as it pertains to architectural decisions and security controls.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with architecture modeling tools and security-related technologies.
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF are a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.
