Technical Solutions Consultant

• Ensure all components from the hardware and operating system to the software and development infrastructure work together seamlessly and efficiently.
• Architect end-to-end tools and processes for device bring-up, configuration, and management.
• Develop and drive the technical roadmap and strategic goal to ensure the massive, efficient scaling of the ChromeOS and Aluminum device ecosystem.
• Liaise between internal engineering and external partners to ensure cohesive product integration and lead debugging and fixes for deep technical issues in firmware and system software.
• Develop software and systems to grow the ChromeOS and Aluminum partner ecosystem, including tools to test hardware performance and qualify new components.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• 5 years of experience in development, testing and deployment of consumer electronics/embedded systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Android or equivalent OS.
• Experience in embedded systems development.
• Experience developing low-level firmware, Linux Kernel device drivers, and BSPs particularly within open-source projects.
• Experience building consumer electronics and with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support processes.
• Experience with System architecture and System Design, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills in domains of firmware, Linux Kernel or Userspace.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
