Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the Energy Exemplar Salesforce.com environment with more than 100 users.
  • Maintain user roles, security, profiles, and workflow rules as necessary.
  • Manage change control for the Energy Exemplar Salesforce instance.
  • Analyze unused fields, objects, and reports and recommend items for removal.
  • Maintain workflow consistency and business confidentiality for Energy Exemplar.
  • Manage administrative functions including user accounts, records, dashboards, backups, and other required tasks.
  • Provide training to organizational users participating in Salesforce-related processes.
  • Connect application developers or third-party providers with business personnel and users.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce.com reports and extract data insights to advance business revenue.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and integrations with systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, DocuSign, middleware, and finance tools.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scoping, and completion of new development requests.

Piper described today's environment as one of uncertainty and turbulence, driven by politics, regulation, and changing investment behavior. For analysts and planners, the challenge is no longer simply understanding fundamentals but interpreting them in markets increasingly shaped by short-term information flows. When Uncertainty Become Structural Trade tensions, evolving sanctions, ongoing global conflicts, and shifting regulatory priorities all inject noise into markets already undergoing rapid physical change. Because they sit behind the meter, Piper explained, "they are not really measured... they are just kind of part of the demand."
